Laughter Yoga is a unique concept which combines unconditional laughter with yogic deep breathing techniques. Anyone can laugh without relying on humor, jokes or comedy, and it’s based on the idea that voluntary, sustained laughter provides the same emotional and physical benefits as spontaneous laughter.
Laughter Yoga is not a traditional yoga practice; anyone can do it, even with limited physical mobility! It can be practiced standing or from a seated position, and no special equipment or exercise clothing is required. All you need is a willingness to have fun! It begins with clapping, practicing deep breathing, then interspersing childlike playfulness and laughter exercises while making eye contact with others in a group. Laugh your way to better health, make new friends, and fill your life with joy!
